Contracts

Contracts in our system are integral agreements that end-users can sign. This section provides a seamless way to handle and configure these contracts.

If you have the necessary authorization, find the "Contracts" menu item placed in the side menu.

Contracts Overview

In the Contracts page you can:

  • Create a New Contract: If authorized, initiate a new contract with the "NEW" button.
  • Manage Signature: Easily view signed contracts by clicking on the "SIGN" button for each row. If allowed, edit contracts with a pencil icon or view details in read-only mode with an eye icon.
  • Sort: Organize contracts by "Name" or "Date."
  • Filter: Refine your view by "Date" and "Environment."
  • Search: Quickly find contracts by name.

Creating a New Contract

The New Contract page simplifies the process with a user-friendly form divided between "Overview" and "Template" tabs on the left. A real-time preview on the right keeps you informed of any modifications.

Contract overview

Overview

In the Overview tab, provide information for the following fields:

  • Contract Name: The name of the contract.
  • Contract Label: The label of the contract, which appears in the snippet.
  • Trusted Referrer: A list of trusted URLs that can view and sign this contract via snippet or API.
  • Document: This document will be displayed only in the snippet (e.g.: Privacy Policy document). Note that this is not the contract document; the contract document is uploaded in the Template tab.
  • Capture screenshot: If enabled, the system will capture a screenshot of the choices when the user submit the consents.

Template

Configure the contract document in the Template sections:

Variants

Documents are saved in variants. Upload one or more PDF documents as the contract document for users to sign. Choose the Default variant if you do not need to use multiple variants. You can create multiple variants with different documents that have the same form elements. When users give their consents, each form element from every document in all variants will be saved in the contract.

Form element IDs

Specify the form element IDs for the information that you want to save in the contract. Ensure that these IDs correspond to the IDs in the uploaded documents. If the "Include in Signature" checkbox is checked, the form element will be also signed by the user.

Contract fields

The contract fields represent the clauses of the contract, add as many clauses as needed. For each clause, choose an appropriate tag and specify the text in the Label field.

Editing a Contract

The Edit Contract page mirrors the creation page but with a few differences. At the top, find the creation date, version, and a trash can icon for deletion. Enabled tabs include "Versions," "History," and "Codes." Under the snippet, a button allows testing the contract signature for DEV and DEMO environments. If the contract is in "Staging," promote it to "Production" with the "GO TO PRODUCTION" button.

View-only Mode

Similar to the Edit page, the View-only page allows you to review contracts without modifying data. Additionally, you can restore older versions if needed (look for the "RESTORE" button).

Signatures Management

Explore the Signatures page to gain insights into signatures associated with each contract.

Key Actions:

  • Sorting: Organize signatures by various parameters.
  • Filtering: Refine your view by signature date, environment, version, device, and signature status.
  • Search: Quickly find signatures by user.
